So the forecast says it’s going to be 17 degrees today, in a bit. And it’s already definitely headed that way. Warm for November. One of those out of the blue strange, beautiful late fall days. Blue skies over bare trees…
Out of place, you could say. Even a little alarming, insofar as you really don’t expect to see this sort of thing much at this latitude, this late in the year. But nice in its odd way, sure… Apart from the advanced state of the trees, you could easily imagine it was September.
Meanwhile, the webcams are showing a thin crust of snow at the summits of both Mont Ste-Anne and Mont Tremblant…
See, that’s a bit more like it should be. And also very welcome.

After a chilly October, A few warm days in November are welcome. We are getting them here in Missouri as well.
